On a rough Election Night, a handful of Winning Connections clients lost their bids for reelection. It wasn't easy to watch Russ Feingold, Ted Strickland, Roy Barnes and Blanche Lincoln go down in defeat. It's been our privilege to work with them and their talented staffs, and it's the country's loss that these people won't be able to assume office again this winter.

Twelve years ago, Senator Blanche Lincoln was among the firm's first clients. Since then, we've been with her through some tough fights. This year, we were proud to work with Senator Lincoln as she won her primary, wrote the strongest financial reform bill of the last decade, and ran hard against John Boozman long after the national pundits wrote her off. Winning Connections wouldn't be the firm it is today if Blanche Lincoln hadn't asked us to join her campaign in 1998. In the years since, she's been an unfailing advocate for the people of Arkansas, and it's been our pleasure to work with her.
