The newest member of Winning Connections, Julia joined the team in August of 2011 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in May of 2011 with a degree in Political Science. During the 2008 Presidential campaign, Julia took two years off of school and was a Field Organizer for the Obama for America campaign in 9 states, and later did Latino Outreach in 2009 for the Brian Moran for Governor (VA) campaign. A Spanish Speaker and Latino Outreach advocate, Julia wrote her senior thesis on the importance of including the Latino vote in the GOTV process, and understanding the positive, significant impact the Latino vote has on elections.
 
She is a native of Washington D.C., and enjoys riding and competing her horse in her free time.
